SyteLine is your system of record. The Lake MES Platform is your system of execution.
The shop-floor platform for SyteLine manufacturers. Labor, documents, machines, quality, analytics and a command center, built for Infor SyteLine, on the SyteLine database, sold as one platform, grown by switching capability on. Available now, and it grows with every release.

Which describes you?
You already own the first piece of the platform. At your renewal you move to the tier that fits what you own, with loyalty pricing, and the products you do not own yet are included with starter quantities.
See what your tier includesThe record is solid. The floor runs on paper, spreadsheets and point tools that never learned the job number. Start with the problem costing you the most, or see how what you run today would move.
Find your problemHow it movesChoose the ERP that already has a shop-floor platform. The business system and the floor system come from the same partner, from day one.
See the comparisonFour questions we hear on almost every shop floor
None of them has a one-product answer. Each one spans three places where the truth lives, and the platform puts those three places on one record.
“We quoted 30% margin and delivered 28. Where did the two points go?”
The answer spans labor at the station, machine time and the job cost in SyteLine. Three sources, or one record.
“Is the machine shop carrying its own weight?”
The answer spans machine utilization, the labor booked against it and the cost of both. Three sources, or one record.
“Will this order ship on time, and if not, which one do I bump?”
The answer spans the live queue on the floor, the inspection holding it and the schedule. Three sources, or one record.
“Can we prove these parts were good? Certs live on a whiteboard, audits take two weeks.”
The answer spans the inspection on the job, the certificate on the lot and the work instruction the operator saw. Three sources, or one record.
Most floors are assembled one gap at a time
Here is what that looks like, and what changes on one platform.
| A floor built from point tools | On the Lake MES Platform | |
|---|---|---|
| Labor | A time-capture tool with its own database, synced to SyteLine on a schedule. Job cost catches up on Friday. | Shop-Trak posts straight into SyteLine Clock-ins, quantities and scrap land on the job as the work happens. Job cost is right while the job is open. |
| Documents | Drawings on a shared drive, instructions in a binder, labels from a third tool. Which revision is on the bench is anyone's guess. | Doc-Trak: the right document finds the work Certificates, labels, packing slips and work instructions produced from SyteLine and delivered where the work is. |
| Machines | A monitoring system on its own screen, with its own login, that never learned the job number. | Machine-Trak: every machine finally talking Any asset reports run, idle and down. OEE and utilization first, then the downtime reasons behind them. The job link to Shop-Trak is expected by the end of 2026. |
| Quality | NCRs in a spreadsheet or an aging database beside the ERP. The defect is found at the dock. | Quality-Trak: catch it at the operation, not the dock Nonconformance, corrective action and engineering change inside SyteLine, on the job. |
| Cost | Labor, machine and quality cost reconciled after month-end, by hand. | Fact-Trak: answers before month-end Actuals against standard by job and work center, from your SyteLine data, while there is still time to act. Part of the Pro tier. |
| Visibility | Five logins and a status meeting to find out what happened overnight. | Vantage: Your Command Center Role-based views of the whole plant, included in every tier. Expected early 2027. |
You are buying one-off solutions and becoming a systems integrator yourself to create what we give you off the shelf.
Every seam between point tools is yours to build, test after each SyteLine upgrade, and keep working. On the platform the seam is ours.
One platform, four layers
Read it from the bottom up. That order is the difference. Most shop-floor software starts at the dashboard and reaches down for data it does not own. The Lake MES Platform starts where the data is made, on the SyteLine database, and builds up from there.
Experience
Expected Early 2027One window per role. Vantage, Your Command Center, composes the layers below into a view for each job in the plant.
Intelligence
Planned 2027AI across the platform flags jobs at risk of going late and cost drifting from standard. A person decides.
Workflow
In DevelopmentCross-product workflows that act on the data: scrap at the station raises a quality case, a machine condition opens work, certification gates the clock-in.
Data foundation
Available NowLabor, documents, machines, quality and cost, captured on the SyteLine database by Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak, Machine-Trak, Quality-Trak and Fact-Trak. Four decades of it.
1. Scrap becomes a case, by itself
In developmentA scrap entry at the operation raises the disposition, with the job, the operator, the machine state and the documents already attached. Nobody opens a second system and retypes the context. In development.
2. Machines open their own tickets
PlannedThe machine detects the condition and Quality-Trak runs the response workflow, so detection and response stop being connected by a person who has other work. Planned.
3. Quality forms, document enabled
Planned 2027Inspection records, certificates and change documents file themselves against the same job record, which is where an auditor looks rather than where somebody filed it. Doc-Trak and Quality-Trak together, planned 2027.
4. Cost of quality meets job cost
PlannedQuality cost joins labor and machine cost on one job. This is the number the business runs on, and it is the one no single product can produce. Cost of quality on the job follows the machine link; planned.
Click any component to open its page. The lower half of each card is the design rule: what it captures, and the workflow layer that acts on the capture.
Each product is what it contributes to the floor, not a separate purchase

Shop-Trak
Labor, quantities and scrap at the operation, posted into SyteLine as the work happens. Visual Dispatch on the floor; Mobile in a browser.
Contributes: labor and execution.

Doc-Trak
Packing slips, certificates, labels and work instructions produced from SyteLine and delivered where they are needed, working with the repositories you already have.
Contributes: the documents and instructions.

Machine-Trak
Any asset, connected: CNC, PLC-based or legacy. OEE and utilization first, then downtime reasons, with drill-down that answers why. Connections may require a setup fee.
Contributes: machine state and time.

Quality-Trak
Nonconformance and corrective action, engineering change, audits and inspections at the operation, inside SyteLine. Sold as part of the platform; SyteLine 9 and later.
Contributes: quality and change.

Fact-Trak
Analytics and planning on your SyteLine data: actuals against standard by job and work center. Part of the Pro tier.
Contributes: cost and plan.

Vantage
Role-based views of the whole plant: late jobs, quiet work centers, machine state and attainment in one place. Included in every tier.
Contributes: nothing new to the data. It composes the rest.
Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak and Fact-Trak work on your SyteLine data today, and Quality-Trak runs inside SyteLine. We connect them further with every release. Doc-Trak and Shop-Trak already share the job; the Shop-Trak and Machine-Trak job link is expected in 2026.
Start where it hurts. Grow by switching it on.
Your tier includes a license for each of its products, with starter quantities included, so each stage starts as a pilot, not a purchase. The pain picks where you start; the platform is what you buy.
Fix the first pain
Available NowStart with what hurts most: labor, documents, machines or quality. Every product in your tier is yours from day one.
Switch on the next
Available NowThe starter quantity of the next product is already included. Try it on one cell, then add capacity when the evidence is in.
Toward one job record
Integrating Release by ReleaseLabor, documents, machines and quality meeting on the same job. Doc-Trak and Shop-Trak share it today; the machine link is expected in 2026; quality workflows follow.
Run the plant from one screen
Expected Early 2027Vantage gives every role its own view of the whole operation, with job cost in view. The floor reviewed without a status meeting.
Nobody opens five products. Everybody works from the same job.
Machine operator
One terminal: the right instruction, quantities and scrap, quality in line.
Assembler
Guided assembly with the current spec and quality on one screen.
Shift supervisor
Attainment, trouble areas and help routing, live.
Planner and scheduler
Plan against labor actuals recorded at the operation.
Engineer and document control
Control every drawing; set the revision rules for what reaches the floor.
Purchasing and accounts payable
Match and pay with the PO, receiver and invoice together.
Quality lead
Dispositions, CAPA, audits and inspections inside the ERP.
Maintenance tech
Every machine reports itself: uptime, faults turned into action.
Controller and finance
Margin by job with labor cost today; machine and quality cost to follow.
Plant manager and executive
The plant in plain language, no ERP expertise required.
Vantage windows are expected early 2027. Until then, each role works in its product window on SyteLine. What each role gets, in detail
What the job record makes possible, with the status of each
The machine files its own paperwork
PlannedA machine condition opens the work order, routes the tech and writes the cost back.
Certification gates the clock-in
Available Now with Shop-TrakOnly a qualified operator starts the operation, through the work center skills check.
Scrap becomes a quality case by itself
In DevelopmentA scrap entry at the station opens the quality record.
Cost on the open job
PlannedLabor today where you use direct job costing; machine and quality cost as the products come together.
Performance reviews written by the floor
PlannedAttainment, quality and skills from the record, not from memory.
The floor reviewed without a meeting
Expected Early 2027Late and quiet jobs on one screen before the shift starts.
You buy the platform once. You grow it by switching on.
One platform, one subscription, one renewal
Your tier includes a license for each of its products, with starter quantities included, and you install what you need. One agreement covers all of it.
Capacity scales, capability activates
Add devices, users, seats or machines as you grow. New capability is switched on, not reinstalled. Each product has a short activation guide. Machine-Trak connections may require a setup fee.
Care after go-live, included
Check-ins and activation help are part of the subscription. We'd rather come solve a real problem on your floor than run you through a demo.
Four tiers
Entry, Essential and Pro, plus Custom, priced for your operation. Pro adds full Fact-Trak. Vantage is included in every tier.
Your price comes from your account team
They size the platform with you and confirm the numbers in a written quote. We do not publish prices.
Where it runs
Every Lake customer can move to the platform. The fully integrated platform runs on current SyteLine versions. Moving to Infor's multi-tenant cloud? The Lake MES Platform moves with you. Your account team will confirm what your version supports.
The floor records itself. SyteLine stays the system of record.
You move at your renewal, with loyalty pricing
You move at your renewal, starting January 1, 2027. Current Lake customers receive loyalty pricing on the platform. Everything you own is carried onto the platform, and the products you do not own yet are included with starter quantities, so the next fix is a switch, not a project. Each customer moves at its renewal, starting January 1, 2027, and can move sooner through December 31, 2026.
A partner, not a project
Built for SyteLine, by The Lake Companies
Built and supported by the team that has implemented SyteLine for four decades. Each SyteLine release is tested by Lake, then the platform release follows.
The data layer, at the source
Others reach the floor's data from outside through ERP feeds. The platform generates it on the SyteLine database, from the station to the machine.
A partner, not a project
1,000+ manufacturers served since 1983, focused on the Midwest. 650+ running Lake software today. Support through one portal, every inquiry.
