Quality runs on paper, email and memory. The ERP can't see it.
Quality-Trak runs nonconformance, corrective action, engineering change and inspection inside Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine), on the same database as the job. Not a system beside the ERP. Part of the Lake MES Platform.

What changes
What we hear from quality leaders
Six versions of the same problem, in almost every plant we walk into. Here is what each one looks like with Quality-Trak. The goal underneath all six: catch it at the operation, not the dock, and prove it from the record.
Paper and spreadsheets
Inspection sheets and NCRs live in binders and a folder called "Quality FINAL v3."
One system, inside the ERP
Nonconformance, corrective action, deviations and complaints run inside CloudSuite Industrial, on the same database as the job.
Email is the workflow
Dispositions and approvals travel by inbox. Nobody can see which parts are on hold.
The Workbench is the workflow
Every open NCR shows its owner and its due date. User-defined workflows carry a disposition from raised to closed without an inbox.
Audits are projects
Every audit means days of pulling records by hand, and hoping the binder is complete.
The audit is pulled from the system
Audits are run and recorded in the system, so the next one starts from the record rather than from a search.
Changes arrive late
An engineering change reaches the floor after the old revision has already run.
One controlled path from request to release
Engineering change and new product introduction run on a single path, and every change stays on record for the next build.
No linkages
Quality data sits beside the ERP, not in it, so it never ties back to the job or the work order.
On the job record by design
Quality-Trak shares the CloudSuite Industrial database and inherits SyteLine's security model. There is no middleware to host or reconcile.
Cost of quality is invisible
Scrap and rework show up as unexplained variance at month-end, long after the job closed.
Cost of quality, captured today
Cost of quality is recorded on the nonconformance, corrective action and change records, as an amount, a level or time by team, and analyzed by Pareto. Cost of quality on the open job, beside labor and machine cost, is next.
“Can we prove these parts were good? Certs live on a whiteboard, audits take two weeks.”
The question every quality manager answers under pressure. A quality record that sits on the job, not in a binder, is where the answer starts.“We quoted 30% margin and delivered 28. Where did the two points go?”
The question every controller asks. Scrap and rework are where a meaningful share of those points go.What your team gets, role by role
Quality manager
Opens the Workbench: every open NCR with its owner and due date, and a Pareto that is already current.
Inspector and operator
Records dimensional, torque, checklist and attribute results in the system. A failed first piece holds the job.
Engineer and document control
Releases the change once, on one controlled path from request through to release.
Plant manager
Sees holds and quality trends from the record instead of hearing about them in the morning meeting.
Quality-Trak
Catch it at the operation, not the dock.
Quality-Trak is built on Infor Mongoose and runs inside CloudSuite Industrial, sharing its database and its security model. It is part of the Lake MES Platform and is not sold on its own. Nothing extra to host, sync or maintain.
Quality management
- Nonconformance (NCR) and corrective action (CAPA)
- Deviations and customer complaints
- Audits run and recorded in the system
Change management
- Engineering change (ECO) and new product introduction (NPI)
- One controlled path from request to release
- Every change on record for the next build
Production and inspection
- Dimensional, torque, checklist, attribute and serial inspections
- First-piece lock: the job waits for a good first part

Quality-Trak runs on SyteLine 9 and later, on premises or in Infor's multi-tenant cloud, and is sold only as part of the Lake MES Platform. Your account team confirms what your version supports. Quality-Trak does not include gage calibration. How activation works.
The quality fix is the same size either way.
Only one of them makes the next fix smaller. Buy a quality tool and you fix the forms. Then you build and maintain every link to the job, the floor and the documents yourself. Quality-Trak runs inside the ERP, as part of the platform, so the next capability is a switch rather than a project.

Quality-Trak on the Lake MES Platform
Quality doesn't live alone. On the platform, it doesn't have to. Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak and Fact-Trak already work on your SyteLine data today. The next direct product-to-product integration, Shop-Trak and Machine-Trak, is expected by the end of 2026, with more through 2027.
Shop-Trak
Planned 2027Labor, quantities and scrap recorded at the operation, on the same SyteLine job your quality records sit on. Recording quality transactions in the Shop-Trak window is planned for 2027.
Doc-Trak
Available NowThe drawing, work instruction and certificate attached to the job travel with it, so the floor builds from the job's own documents.
Machine-Trak
Available NowAny asset reports run, idle and down: the context behind a quality problem. Start with OEE and utilization. The job link to Shop-Trak is expected by the end of 2026.
Fact-Trak
PlannedJob cost and margin analytics on your SyteLine data. Cost of quality on the job view follows. Part of the Pro tier.
Vantage
Expected Early 2027Quality KPIs beside labor, machine and delivery on one role-based command center. Drilling into the detail needs a Quality-Trak seat.
Intelligence
Planned 2027AI across the platform flags risk before it becomes a late job. A person decides.
Start with quality. Keep climbing.
Capacity scales, capability activates. Starter quantities of every product are included in every tier, so each stage starts as a pilot, not a purchase.
Quality on one system
Available NowNCRs, corrective action, changes and controlled documents move off paper and into CloudSuite Industrial.
Quality at the operation
Available NowInspections are recorded where the work happens. First-piece lock holds the job until there is a good part.
Connect the machines
Available NowStart with the machine included in your platform: OEE and utilization first, then downtime reasons, on any asset.
Run the plant from one screen
Expected Early 2027Holds, late jobs and quality trends in one role-based command center, with cost of quality on the job.
What the job record makes possible
Scrap becomes a quality case by itself
In DevelopmentA scrap entry at the station opens the quality record.
Certification gates the clock-in
Available Now with Shop-TrakOnly a qualified operator starts the operation, through the work center skills check.
A machine fault raises the quality case
PlannedDrift at the machine opens the quality record by itself.
What we hear about Quality-Trak, and what we say back
Each one is a problem in a manufacturer's words. The answer names what Quality-Trak does about it today, what is still coming, and where the problem sits in the 49 we have catalogued.
Quality lives in Word and Excel, nowhere near the job.
Quality-Trak runs nonconformance, corrective action, audits and inspections inside SyteLine, on the same database and the same work order as the labor. Built on Infor Mongoose, so it is a SyteLine form, not a separate system. Available now.
In the book of painQuality lives in spreadsheets, disconnected from the floor Available now
Scrap shows up in a report after the job has shipped.
Scrap and yield are visible in real time with drill-through to the source transaction, and with Quality-Trak in place the catch moves upstream to the operation that created it. The step beyond that, where a scrap entry at the station opens the quality record by itself, is in development.
In the book of painScrap and yield are not visible until it is too late Available nowEngineering changes and holds do not reach the operation Available now
Our operators will not open a nonconformance for every small problem, so the small problems never get recorded.
They do not have to. An operator reports a problem from the job without opening a nonconformance, and a supervisor or quality engineer decides whether it escalates to an NCR. The light path captures what the heavy path would have lost, and the heavy path stays reserved for what deserves it. Available now.

Engineering changes and holds do not reach the operator.
Engineering change runs in two phases inside SyteLine. First, request and review: anyone can submit a request, and engineering reviews impact and cost, then approves it, rejects it, or redirects it to a nonconformance or a corrective action. Second, execution: an approved request becomes the ECO and runs as a task list through to verification. A hold sits on the job record, and through Doc-Trak the current revision is what the operator opens at the station. Available now.

A customer asks whether a part we made eight months ago was good, and proving it is archaeology.
The inspection is recorded on the work order, the cert is scanned to the lot at receiving, and the view log says who saw the instruction. Dimensional, torque, checklist, attribute and serial inspections and first-piece lock are all on the job. Inspection characteristics are defined by item, product family or work center rather than by operation number, so they survive a routing change and work on routings built by a configurator. We need to know what poor quality is costing us, job by job.
Cost of quality is captured today: it is recorded on the nonconformance, corrective action and change records, as an amount, a level from your own code list, or time by team, and analyzed by Pareto. Base SyteLine has no place for a defect and its cost. Cost of quality on the open job, joining labor and machine cost on the same record, is planned.
In the book of painNobody can combine labor, machine and quality into job profitability Planned
Can quality alert us when a machine drifts out of bounds?
Machine-Trak alerts on the condition today. A machine fault or drift that opens the quality record by itself is planned, with no date.
In the book of painThere is no alert when quality goes out of bounds Planned
Safety and environmental records: is that another system?
Environmental, health and safety records on the same engine as quality, so there is one compliance surface rather than another silo, is planned, with no date.
