The Lake MES Platform
The Lake MES Platform ยท If you already run a Lake product

You already own part of this, and you are running the rest by hand

If you run Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak or Fact-Trak today, you already own the first piece of the platform. The rest is built, and a starter quantity of each product is included in your tier. This page shows what that means for your footprint, in quantities.

What Changes

Less than you are expecting

What you bought as a product is a capability of the platform now. That is a change in how it is sold and how it is licensed, not a change to the software running on your floor on Monday.

  • Nothing is reinstalled. What runs today keeps running, on the same install, with the same data.
  • Nothing you already own is charged twice. Current Lake customers receive loyalty pricing on the platform.
  • Doc-Trak and Fact-Trak stay exactly as they are, and they are no longer on their own.
  • It grows by installing what is already yours rather than starting over. Adding a product from your tier is a decision, not a purchase.
  • One subscription, one renewal, one partner for the floor.

Capacity scales. Capability activates.

How The Move Runs

Four steps, in this order

1. Renewal
Each customer moves at its renewal, starting January 1, 2027, and can move sooner through December 31, 2026. Lake places you on the platform tier that fits what you own today, and the platform subscription is sent as part of your renewal.
2. Convert
What you bought as a product becomes a capability of the platform. Nothing is reinstalled and nothing you already own is charged twice. Current Lake customers receive loyalty pricing on the platform.
3. Carry forward
What runs today keeps running, on the same install, with the same data. Nothing you planned is undone.
4. Install what you are ready for
The rest of your tier is already entitled, so the included devices, seats and machines of any product are yours to install when you want them. There is no new sales cycle and nothing to re-buy. There is still real work: installing, configuring and training your people, and how much depends on the product. What you skip is the procurement, the integration and the negotiation.

Lake is not asking you to choose a platform first. Your renewal carries the tier that fits what you own, and you get a written quote against your actual footprint rather than a range. The platform terms are published at lakeco.com/legal/platform-terms.

What Every Tier Includes

Every tier includes a starter quantity of all six products

This is not a trial and not a discount. It is a real allocation of products you may never have bought, included from the day you convert, so you can find out whether machine data or quality changes anything on your floor before you decide how much of it you want.

What That Means In Practice
  • Five of the six products come with a starter quantity at every tier, whether or not you ever bought them.
  • That includes Machine-Trak and Quality-Trak, which most SyteLine shops have never run.
  • Vantage is included for every subscriber at every tier when it ships, expected early 2027.
  • Fact-Trak is the one exception. It is not a starter quantity; full Fact-Trak is what the Pro tier adds.
Also Included
  • Care after go-live: check-ins and activation help are part of the subscription
  • Starter implementation hours for products that are new to you (how activation works)
  • Vantage, Your Command Center, expected early 2027
  • Each SyteLine release tested by Lake, then the platform release follows

Every product in your tier is entitled from day one and installed when you are ready for it.

Before You Assume Anything

Six things to know

  • Entitled is not the same as installed. You are entitled to every product in your tier and you install what you are ready for, when you are ready.
  • Installing the included Machine-Trak licenses carries no risk: Lake installs them, and you pay nothing if you decide not to use them. Machines you keep using may require a setup fee, and older machines may need a small interface device. Those are quoted separately.
  • Fact-Trak has no starter allocation below the Pro tier. If analytics is the reason you are here, that is the tier to ask about.
  • Concurrent licensing is being sunset. Concurrent Shop-Trak devices convert to named devices at a published 4:1 ratio with a usage audit. An account whose actual ratio is higher gets a discussion and a joint decision.
  • Operator training is not part of the subscription. Ask what is included before you assume it.
  • Ask about the support level in writing, in the first conversation. Nobody should discover a support tier at renewal.
Next Step

Ask what is included for your footprint

Your account team can list what you own, show what carries across and name what is already included, in writing, against your actual sites and quantities. It is a short conversation and it does not start with a demo.
